Become a Member
The Bahamas Mangrove Alliance (BMA) is made up of two membership tiers: Contributing Members and General Members.
Contributing Members
Contributing Members are organizations that actively support the Alliance’s mission through collaboration, expertise, funding, resources, and participation in mangrove conservation initiatives. This tier includes:
- Council Members – Core organizations that help guide the Alliance’s strategic direction and contribute to collaborative initiatives.
- Affiliate Members – Organizations that partner with the Alliance on restoration, research, education, outreach, and other conservation activities.
- Supporting Members – Organizations that strengthen the Alliance through financial, technical, in-kind, communications, or network support.
General Members
General Members are individuals and organizations who wish to stay connected to the Alliance and support mangrove conservation in The Bahamas. This may include students, community members, conservation professionals, educators, researchers, and representatives of interested organizations. General Members receive updates, opportunities, and information about mangrove conservation efforts and ways to get involved.
